Not always the case! We use a lot of Optronics lights at work, and some of their tiny auxiliary lights are truly remarkable! They have a little cube LED light with ONE diode in it that makes a better headlight than the ones on my truck! As we move forward, all of our lights used on our DOT and TC vehicles will be LED.
