When I freshened my Mega block from the previous owner it showed a fair amount of metal transfer on the caps. We line honed it and rebalanced (58 grams out at each end). It's running a 4.500" crank that came from Indy many moons ago. Has a pentastar stamped in it. I have know idea where it was manufactured. I run BME rods and a Fluid damper so we'll see if it looks better during freshen-up. Doug
