There are TONS of Stock eliminator cars out there and it is only a small percentage of them that can come close to setting the class record. It is after all an index class. So running fast really only matters if you come up against a "same class" car in the eliminator and then its a heads up race. So as said above, racing in stock can be very expensive, or not so much, just depends on what you choose to do.
