I ran a Hurst super shifter 3 on my 65 Olds 442. Very tight shifter. Those fat, straight rods really give you a positive feel. WAY tighter than a comp plus or stock pistol grip. You do have to cut the floor because the rods don't t have dog legs. Absolutely loved it and wish I'd never sold it. If I were building a 4 speed car I'd put one it it.
