As far as A bodies....here goes....

I, too have had all the shocks and have found my custom Bilsteins to be the best so far. The edelbrocks were weird to say the least and really far off in valving for the rear if memory serves me. Since they are a fit all piece they are too long for a lowered A body like mine. I also used Varishocks which are basically the same as QA1s, but with American internals. Either way, they are twin tube shocks with and oil restricter, not true adjustability like advertised. Definitely not a heavy duty piece in my opinion, and after 3 rebuilds, I was proved correct. The valving for the rear of an A body was poor at the lower settings (below 5 clicks) and I needed 10-11 clicks of 16 on the front to control the motion of my 1.04s, and the ride was harsh to say the least.

Just my .02.
