I have used them all, KYB, Mopar HD, Edlebrock, QA1 etc. Do not use the edelbrocks unless you are working on late 73 & up B body fronts. Here they work very well and do not raise the ride height. To make these shocks you use the chevy chevelle front shock and replace the t bar with a sleeve. The edelbrocks in other cases are way to stiff and do not allow the suspension to work properly. They actually change the ride height and work even worse when hot and you start to push them. I have taken then off the cars they were on and sold them. Waste of $$$$$ Bandaid solution.

KYB's used to be good. Still they "porpoise" when they get hot. OK for a driver.

Mopar HD or the HD monroe's actually work very well.

The best shock by far is the adjustabe QA1's and I can't say enough good things about them.
