Overall length will determine the value. If it could be used as is in an A,B, or E body the value goes up. If it will need cut down, new ends, and new axles for your application that will hurt it.
If the housing and axles are drop in ready length wise you can pick up a power lock unit and a set of gears. Just depends on what is there as far as value goes. I have seen the cast center sections with the pinion snubber mounts go for a couple hundred dollars.
Add to that the more items that are there.
