I used a chassis dyno (war room,A&A) and had the idle set in a happy place, so they didn't need to touch that. yes, I agree. after dyno tuning always required larger main jets at the track, 2 sizes larger usually. that's why I decided it would be smarter to get an innovate wide band and tune it myself to real world setting. mainly I use it for wot jetting which I found on my combo is 12.8:1 range for best mph. I still tune idle by ear and then refer to gage to see if its in the ballpark and it is. none of that is an issue, its the tip-in. I can feel it surging and referring to the gage I can see its between 16-17:1 ratio, so the gage comfirms there's an issue.
