The NAG1 (New Automatic Gearbox Generation 1)

I assume someone make a different output shaft so you
can get rid of of the rubber coupler and can go to a
slip yoke... what does that nagy weigh

There isn't any room on the NAG1 as there is no extension housing and the park gear rides in the very back of the case, not to mention that you would have to fabricate a different output shaft as they have never been made with a slipyoke. All Mercedes transmissions use a bolt on yoke.

Wonder if you could take a 722 from an AWD, remove the transfer case adapter and then make up a tail shaft housing to support a slip yoke
