If your talking putting one behind your engine you
need to get the hyd version... NOT the electric version
(the hyd version has 1 pin or 3 pins on the electric
plug, not the NSS plug).. then change out the input
shaft so you can use a high stall conv... if guys
are using the lock up version they put a spacer behind
the engine so they can put a thicker conv in.. the
conv with a decent stall and lock up cost about $1800 and up
EDIT
you need too change the pump gears or the pump assm
to match the 727 conv if you go non lock up
