What factory GM or Ford runs that fast or faster off show room floor again? Just asking, not trying to start an argument.
May be a little late of a reply but stock ZR1's on stock tires have gone as fast as 10.66 @132 and 10.26 @135 with drag radials. By no means am I trying to bash the hellcat just putting the info out there. That hellcat is sweet. Wonder what they will do to step up the vipers power since it is their halo car.
This was done by an individual (who knows how stock it really was) not by any testing magazines or even Chevy themselves.
The fastest "official" bone stock times publish I have ever seen is 11.40's.
Maybe when someone gets one he will be able to run some 10.6's after playing around with it some too, keeping it bone stock, wink, wink.
The stick car ran 10.91, the 10.80 in the auto is "laughingly" underrated.
We'll all see first hand when they get into the public. 10.50's in the 8-speed with drag radials / slicks is what I am thinking and 10.80's for the 6-speed with the same.
