This whole adventure got started by looking for c body 4 speed parts because...

If you're assuming this is a plug 'n play conversion....
1. If a small block and going to a BB, you need the Schumacher engine mount kit.
2. Tranny needs to be the long tail shaft unit with the forward shifter mount location.
3. The Hurst shifter arm is unique to the C-body to clear the dash and the bench seat if a bench is used.
4. B-body humps absolutely positively will not work despite this urban legend being said over and over. Get a C-body hump from Resto Rick. It's a perfect repop.
5. The clutch pedal / brake pedal assy. is unique to the C-body. Again, NO, B-body assys. will not work. There are two assys, manual brake and power brake. It's a bytch to make one into the other.
6. The mount for the Z-bar is welded to the stub frame. The fender has to come off.
7. The Z-bar is unique.
8. Don't forget the unique pedal to z-bar rod is unique.
9. Every time you come across something you can't figure out, if a B-body guy tells who how to solve it, it will be wrong. They do know their stuff on the mechanical details of everything from flywheel to tranny and everything in between though.
10. There's about 50 other itsey bitsy details but you'll figure those out when you get to them.
