mike s top fuel M Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 1,668 Mi,U.S.A.	Did you check the intermediate shaft (gear wear) and bushing (shaft wear) when the dist was out? (jumpy timing) The sync can be set without a tool.It only has to be in a 5 degree window.Align the rotor with the #1 on the cap.It should be the trailing edge of #1.If you miss it you will run very rough (or no start) and it will not get better.You can move the dist at idle and know immediately when it is out. Leave the gun.......take the Cannoli's....Mike
