What we learned over the years is that you want just enough spring to hold the back of the car up, then adjust the shock setting for traction and control, it works great at the track as too heavy of a spring negates the shock adjustments.
Then, if you REALLY drive it on the street, like Drag Week for example, and you have a buddy with you, and possibly some luggage, or spare parts, it's going to beat you, the shocks, and the suspension to death in about 300 miles because the springs simply can't control the weight under adverse driving conditions! I learned this lesson at DW 2011, and my brother suffered the same problem at DW2013. So if you truly intend to use it on the street, you might want a set of 150 or 160s to slap on in that situation.
