that was my problem...now I have 2 small block roller cams and 1 BB 440 flat tappet cam.

my next project is all stock low milage 5.9 magnum engine running a intake/carb combo on it.

the roller whiplash is intended for a magnum headed engine..Hughes said they had not run it in a pre-mag LA 318 engine so not sure how it was going to act AND I am using the comp 901-16 springs I ran the lunati 60710 voodoo roller with. (whiplash roller and the lunati 60710 voodoo roller are almost exact specs.)

well it flat out works. so much I have 2 pre-mag roller cam 318s with it and a magnum headed engine is only going to be more fun.

I have not tried a small block flat tappet whiplash, but only can think it is just as bad to the bone.
