I thought about buying one of those cams for my 383 but it's in front of a 1962 trans and the stock convertor doesn't have much of a stall to it.




Mine's a stick shift.

but I would imagine that you don't need much stall. I can roll out and let the clutch all the way out, then once I'm rolling along (maybe around 1000-1200 rpm), stand on it, and the tires go up in smoke immediately, no delay waiting for the RPM to come up.
