Are the contenders. Redhead and FF are the only ones who as standard will install bearings and refit the ballbearings to reduce endplay. Steer & gear offers the service as an extra cost option.

Cardone replaces seals and repaints it. I dont expect much from them.


Opinion/feedback on what you installed in your truck/van/car ? I hear very widely varying opinions on the products from each company.

If your steering is actually still good and a seal is all it will take to get you going.....no brainer but if you need a new box.....Redhaed is what I chose for my 98 truck which was heavily suggested by other Moparts members when I posted my question about which gear box to buy.

Drives as well now, if not better than that era of truck did when new!!!
