Called Chrysler customer assistance regarding the failure (it was on national news back then about all Dakota/Durango ball joint failures) and proved my 99 had a late build date. Chrysler customer assistance called back and said that they would cover all four ball joints.... PARTS and Labor!!!! I'm a little late on this one, but they didn't fail, they just wore out. The wheels go back on tomorrow and then I'll align it.
