Here is an article from the Tech Archives (always a good place to look first) This engine is a big block with Edelbrock heads and a Comp hyd roller cam. It should answer most of your questions.

Andy i dont like to brag but my engine is at least as powerfull as that one on 11,6 comp ratio and six pack set up !
