in hughesengine instruction sheet for cam swap

you line up the crank at 12 oclock with cam gear at 6 oclock, dot to dot.

then rotate crank one full turn to get the cam gear dot at 12 oclock and the crank gear at 12 oclock.

THEN drop the dist in with the rotor at #1 cap term setting it just a little before the rotor is lined up with cap term AND damper set at 10* BTDC.

this will give a instant start up and will not be 180* out.
