That's a real concern for any shock upgrade... it's going to have to work harder to control a heavier spring, and the mount that might have been ok for 100K miles on a marsmallow suspension is pretty taxed by a stiffer shock. Doesn't help that we get these cars at 150K miles... your new Jeep not withstanding.
