I'm sorry you didn't think that was helpful but what I was saying is you aren't going to gain power by changing to a higher stall if you are running a stock motor and trans set up. That's as real as it gets. You want more power then look at spending your money for a carb and intake swap. Or possibly a cam change and a good exhaust system. For better get up and go there are better places to spend your cash than a converter swap. Considering you haven't even got it together why do you think the combo won't run like you want it to?
