and if you are replacing gears in an existing housing and the existing pattern looks good, you will want to start with the existing shim thickness.










I have 742 carrier for my '68roadrunner and need to put 3.23s in it. Have any idea on the specs for it?




742 carrier I start with an .090" shim and adjust from there.
