Yea I was thinking and typing (not good). The car averages 7.1 at 97 in the 1/8th. It has run 11.01 on the quarter.
It has 28-10.5 slicks, 4.56 gears, super stock springs, 904 SMR trans foot brake, and a 4300 stall converter. It has ported edelbrock heads on it. 60 ft times are 1.59. Thanks for the input I will check and run 32-34. I would like to get it to run in the high 6's consistently.

Yeah, I would work on the suspension. My car has the same size tire (Hoosier QTP street slick) and 4.10 gears with a 727 trans with a 8" converter (5000 stall). Even when I had stock springs (not super stock) the car would 60' between 1.49 and 1.53....Do you have 90/10 drag shocks on the front? If not, get some. Also, if you want to help the weight transfer, move the battery to the trunk (if you have not already done so). My other "trick" is to pull the front bumper and brackets off. It takes less than 3 minutes to remove, and only about 5 minutes to put back when you are done...just 4 bolts, 3 minutes of your time and it shaves 33 lbs off the nose of the car...that right there would probably get you that 6 second time slip. Good luck
