When I had mine built,I used a mega block with 4.390 bore and a 4.5 Bryant billet crank.The machinist suggested the 4.5 bore for a square 472 ci,I chose the smaller bore so i'd have room to grow when I hurt it next time.It's not "IF",,,,,,,,,it's "when"
