I will say this............buy a good converter and dont skimp on it to save a few bucks. I dont mean buy a $900 dollar 9.5 conveter but dont buy one for $300 that you never heard off. I know the Dynamic and Turbo Action ones I have used work great as does the PTC from what I hear as I have not used theirs. A good converter goes a long way in the combo as its not worth buying one that could kill a good combo to save a few bucks. Its one place even my cheap butt wont skimp. Alot of guys like ATI and Ultimate converters on here also. But weigh your options and call the one you pick as they will need all the cars info anyway. Good luck , Ron

AGREE whole heartedly with this! I found out the hard way how much of a nightmare a cheap converter can be. I had a budget converter that went bad twice! first time, I thought the tranny had failed, pulled it and sent the converter out for a refresh just as precaution. Once I dove into the transmission, I realized that there wasn't anything wrong in there, Something must have let go in the converter to cause the issue. But, I now had it back and it was fully rebuilt, so I threw it back in there . A year later, it ballooned and caused all sorts of problems. My motor is now apart as I search for a vibration that all started when the flex-plate bolts slammed the block as a result of the converter balooning.

Sounds like the OP is looking at only reputable companies, and I would keep it that way. Just thought I would share the story that prompted me to look to a top brand, instead of an inexpensive one.
