I ran hydraulic rollers in two engines now in my scamp...Both made great power where it was SAFE, but were very RPM limited, and after two dropped valves at both 6200 and 6500 rpms, I refuse to ever use another hydraulic anything in any of my motors.

Considering how much money it is to retrofit a hydraulic roller into most small blocks and big blocks, you are better off going solid roller...or just stay flat tappet...Im going solid flat tappet, and my LA is a factory roller block! Im just tired of dealing with the b.s. that hydraulics give with rpm
