Would that low deck block be of the aluminum KB variety

Cab yes it is a KB block, but it is a low deck one We have been 8.0's with it at 2900lbs a bunch. Never really sorted it out well for the all out stuff, needs more gear and looser converter. Throttle stop racing is what we do with it. 10.90 at 160 is fun I still run it all out once a year at the MATS. Dont even bother talking the stop off or switching converters anymore just turn off the timer and we still go .30's usually with the DA around 3500-4000' Makes good power and has been a pretty reliable piece, Checked the lash twice this year and adjusted nothing just put the covers back on it. Changed the oil three times and still have the same plugs in it. Gonna put in new plugs and valvesprings and ready for another year.

I think I remember that piece on Jason dyno a long time ago when Chris had it, it shocked me on its power Thats what got me intereted in running B1 Now if the economy will pick up a little bit so I can spend some money on my toys

Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
