Although they say you do not need a harmonic balancer when using a blower belt,I ran that way for 6 years.After the second hub failure,went with the ATI superdamper and shortened the blower snout to bring the drive belts closer to the engine reducing the amount of spacers required to align all the pullies.I brought the water pump pulley so close that I had to change to a buttonhead bolt so the pulley would not rub on the water pump bolts.
