I've got most of the pulley's already in possession (v-belt and blower), but I'm trying to figure out how to mount the crank's blowerbelt pulley.
I've been eyeballing it for a while and I would think the v-belt pulley should be in it's original position, as not to cause alignment/spacing issues with the alternator and P/S-pump.

My main worry is having to mount the crank's blower-pulley too far out with a spacer of some sort, which might cause more stress on the cranksnout and balancer. The blower's pulley would have to be spaced out the same amount.

Do most streetdriven blowermotors have a need for a balancer actually, or is just a simple hub to mount the pulley(s) on sufficient?
I understand having to make a new timing mark on the hub if the balancer itself is left out.
