Coat by coat, like turning the pages of a book, each layer of paint confirmed an era of the cars history. The 2nd to the bottom layer was a very unusual paint scheme, a bright gold and brown reflecting the colors of Reid Whisnant, the car's 2nd owner. The next layer clearly revealed the car's original owners... and the colors were... red, white, and blue... the insignia of Ronnie Sox & Buddy Martin. It was simple."
