Dave, you must have been holding back on us at Carlisle in July? Congratulations? If it was mine, I wouldn't change the stripe or anything at this point. Even if you could remove it with no paint damage, where would you get NOS chrome trim? I think just having the documentation for the cars history is good enough unless you have strong feelings about restoring it? The car looks great!
