Thats interesting because I have raced a few with the 5.0 in beat them no problem, and most runs the mustang only goes low 13's on the street.

There were two videos posted here on Moparts of two SRT Challengers with 392 engines. Both were brand new with competent drivers. Both were bone stock. One ran 12.44 @ 116 MPH. The other ran 12.29 @ 118 MPH. You are probably racing the 6.1 SRTs and not the 392 SRTs. Either that or the drivers aren't making the cut. There are plenty of 5.0 stangs in the 13s/14s with bad drivers.
