Randy..in NO way am I doubting Shawn on his numbers! Like yourself,if I get what he predicts..I'll be a VERY HAPPY camper!
I'm thinking that going with aluminum main caps,held in by ARP studs,aftermarket K-1 H-Beam rods,having the cylinders plate-honed,and the piston skirts coated,not only gives the bottom end more strength....but lessens the friction of the rotating assembly..adding additional horsepower!..how much is debateable.
I know one thing....I will no longer be nervous to twist it to 6500-7000 rpm...if my peak numbers dictate it!
Gary...broader torque curve,and MORE all-around power is a GOOD thing,for sure!
