The one thing I learned about those boxes is to have them mounted with the factory spacer that came on 75' & later Charger Brougham's. Its a cad plated piece, makes a -|__|- design....if that box overheats, the insides go melty melty...ever had the back of those things (insulation) melt and run down your firewall? Its not a pretty sight. I had a Chrome Box on my Dart for 5 years and nothing went wrong with it, I just wised up and put an MSD before I became a victim of the failure on one of my long trips.
