teflon enthusiast T Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 286 Catskill, NY	If your Dakota has an automatic trans I would be very careful towing with that truck. The trans behind the 3.7L engine is borrowed from the Dodge Intrepid, yes a car trans!! They have a tendency to overheat easily, install an auxillary cooler before towing anything. When that trans gets overheated the torque converter takes it hard.
