This article is several years old. The track was moved to the northeast parking lot years ago and runs parallel to the railroad tracks.
Don't think they ever built the midway behing the main grandstand, but then, I never go over that way.

I was there running the summit series last weekend and the rumor mill was running big time! About both Irwindale and Fontana.
