It's all about expectations and personal preference.

It seems he just wanted a nice cruising down the highway ride. BTW, this thread started off in the General Section, not in the Corners' Section. It was moved here.

I think a KYB or E-brock will give him a much stiffer ride. Bilstein might be nicer, but IMHO over budget at $400/set for what he seems to be looking for.
