MrBelvedere2 OP mopar Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 649 Davis, California, USA	Ok here's an update. I did the jumper between the small and big posts on the starter. I went to turn over the engine. The starter did spin, but did not engage the engine. After turning it for a couple seconds, the positive post on the battery started smoking and the positive cable was very warm. Any ideas? 1965 Plymouth Belvedere II hardtop
