64dodge572 master 6 Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 4,285 Ohio	Yes it is a problem with the syncro teeth on 2nd gear. As stated above they get worn on an angle over time. However if you look close there will be 2 sets of 3 on the coast side that are wider than the rest of the teeth. These will be the only teeth that are shinny and worn. I have had good luck machining those back to allow the other 24 teeth to take the load. Give me a call if you want to know more.
