I am currently trying to feed my MSD box with the 12v for run and the 12v for crank. So I took my blue wire (run) and my single brown wire (crank) and connected them together. The engine started and idled but my battery voltage was jumping all over the place and my ammeter was jumping around on the + side of the gauge.
I then hooked up the two brown wires with the two above wires trying to fix the jumping voltage and both gauges acted the same as before.
This is why I am trying to figure out what these twin brown wires are for.
Tonight I made voltage checks on the blue/brown wires and I got 12v in CRANK and 12v in RUN just as I was expecting. What I was not expecting with the two brown wires was that they also showed 12v in CRANK and 12v in RUN.
Now I am more confused about the twin brown wires and what their purpose is.
If anyone knows why I am getting the voltage and ammeter gauges jumping around since I wired in the MSD box, that would be great news.

Thanks
