I built a 408 a number of years ago with pocket ported J heads and a Hughes hyd flat cam. I ran a best of 11.89 @ 117 in an F-body with 3.91's and a stick and pump gas. The power was all done at 5500 rpm--the RHS's might extend that a little. I had way more fun with a stock stroke 360. J.Rob



Well its getting a stroker now regardless. If I was to keep the 360 and wanted bottom eleven's I would need a ton more gear which just isnt an option for how much and where I drive this thing on the street.

Im confident that with these heads and the right selection of parts mid 11's should be a breeze, and from what everyone else is saying, low 11's too
