Putting in bigger valves gives the seat fresh material that hasn't been beat by a valve for thousands/millions of cycles ...
Lindy I looked at your pictures , those closed chambered heads do not have hard seats installed . Also ditch the springs between those rockers in favor of a solid spacer and set the side clearance with shims ...
