Right, if performance wasn’t a motivator then it makes infinitely more sense to leave the 4-speed and 396 in it! It would be worth more money, it would be period correct, significantly cooler, a bigger crowd pleaser and so, so much more fun to drive! Instead what you have is just another Mopar with a humongous hemi that runs disappointing et’s.
