Dude, do yourself (and the engine) a favor and drop the oil pan and check ALL of the rod bearings I have lost lifters due to valve train failure and you always, unless the block has lifter bores that are bushed, loose oil pressure, it only takes around 15 seconds of running with no oil pressure to start removing(pushing it out) the oil from the rods and crankshaft Check everything you can so it doesn't end up hurting you, the motor , the car or all three
