A lot of improvement over leafs or caltracs would mean those two types of set ups were not very optimized if the car is slower than about 11.00, and caltracs should be good at better ETs than that. But I definitely recommend going to ladderbars over either. They will work well for you down into the eights. They are the lightest of the three I believe. Also very easy to adjust. I run ladder bars and at 8.90s can run several passes in a row with 60 fts all within .005.
