The reaction shafts are the same EXCEPT for that third ball. It can be removed though with a pointed carbide burr and a bent tipped punch. If I can do it, you can too. A 904 is the same too, remove the ball and you have a late, two ring input shaft reaction shaft. If you don't remove it though you'll end up with a blue torque converter.
