Should I follow the procedure mentioned in the manual, or should I try just moving the cover first? I dont have any extra tabs lying around, and im not sure how to distinguish A from B

i just saw now that your diagram has a little blurb of where to grind ...but if I want to do that im thinking the whole transmission has to come out and apart again, which im not looking forward too..hopefully moving the cover will help, if not i guess I have no choice
