cl440 OP master Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 2,595 S.E. Michigan	We have the freeze plugs (Screw in style) out of our Indy Maxx block and thought we would replace the O-Rings before we put them back in. Does anyone know what size O-Ring I need? I did a Google search and cant seem to come up with the answer. Thanks

cl440 OP master Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 2,595 S.E. Michigan	So Dad and I broke out the calipers yesterday and carefully measured the old Oring. Used our measurements to find the correct Orings on McMaster Carr. They should be here in a couple days and I will see how they fit. I think they will work fine. Will be a few months before I test them with water behind them but they should work just fine.

440Jim I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 16,941 NC	Weird plugs. Must be Indy design; rather than using AN design. I guess they wanted a big clean out hole. The new Bill Mitchell Products (World design) aluminum block I looked at had 1-5/16 (1.312) water jacket plugs.
