Does an engine manufacture date of January 19th 1971 sound correct for a car with a scheduled build of July 9th sound about right? I checked the engine and it is numbers matching. It's a 340 and the clock looking emblem (shift scedule) looks like it's in the one o'clock position. 1971 Sassy Grass Green Duster 340 2006 Charger Daytona GoMango

That's a long lead time , but 71 was the beginning of the end due to rising insurance costs .
